Another one for the Zoom series, but this one is me. I don’t do self-portraits often enough as I always find them oddly enjoyable but don’t tend to like the thought of staring at myself so I tend to not do them. They are great practice though and I should do more of them.
This was a fun little sketch I did in between working on a watercolor with the kids next to me. I like the way the folds on the foot turned out.
I liked the challenge of the folds in the foot on this picture. I think it turned out alright, used a 2B and dark colored Derwent drawing pencil on this one.
I liked this picture as a study in trying to capture the emaciated look of the tendons on the back of the hand. Happy with how it turned out.
Another portrait via Zoom using my trusty Derwent water pens and a Uniball pen.
Another one in the series of drawing my coworkers on Zoom. 😈
A quick 15-min drawing of a hand from quick poses using pencil and a Uniball Eye Micro pen.
A portrait done from a screenshot of Zoom participants. I’m using pencil, Uniball Micro pen, and Derwent watercolours (with water pen) for this.
Definitely stylised figure drawing but good practice with portraits can be had on a zoom call. This was done with Derwent water pens and a travel Inktense water color set.
